The Amrail Exhibit Train is directly based off of the Amtrak train of the same name, and as such all of the equipment used on the train is based on equipment found on Amtrak's roster.
This train is based on the Amtrak Museum Train, which was built as a Heritage Unit to commemorate Amtrak's 40th Anniversary.Recently, they upgraded the P42DCs to the new, "Genesis 2.0" The train is a special excursion train run by Amrail across its tracks. The consist includes the special "Phase 1" painted locomotive, three special vintage baggage coaches labeled "Display Cars", a special standard coach labeled the "40th Anniversary Store", a vintage sleeper, and a special old unpowered locomotive used as a cab car. It is a heritage train designed to showcase the heritage of the Amrail passenger rail network. The Amrail Exhibit Train is a short excursion passenger train featured in Rails Unlimited.
The Amrail Museum Train (formerly Amrail Exhibit Train) is a limited premium diesel that is only available in the Amrail Exhibit Train gamepass that was originally available during 4 July 2018.
